Meet Dr. Dennis R. Smith
Dr. Smith was born in Lima, Ohio. He received a degree as a licensed paramedic from the state of Ohio and was an active paramedic though 1978. He received an undergraduate degree in Biology from Ohio State University and Ohio Northern University. He graduated in 1981 with honors from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. While in college he was appointed the head extern of the Palmer College Clinic Exam Center. He is currently a Diplomat of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
Dr. Smith has been in practice in downtown Hartland, Wisconsin for more than 27 years. During his service he provided care for patients from infants to the elderly and utilizes a variety of techniques best suited for each person. Learn more about the treatment techniques Dr. Smith employs.
After suffering a herniated disc as a result of a rugby injury, Dr. Smith's passion and focus centers around the conservative reduction and correction of herniated discs without the need for surgery.
Dr. Smith has completed hundreds of hours of post graduate and continuing education studying nutrition, neurology, radiology, and orthopedics. He is certified by the National College of Chiropractic (Chicago, Illinois) in physical impairment and disability education. He is also certified in Applied Kinesiology and Logan Basic as well as completing the Cox Spinal Decompression course series.
